Prosciutto Seared Scallops
While these scallops look so fancy and complex, they are the easiest thing to make and they cook in less than 10minutes! I promise you that you can easily impressed anyone with this easy recipe. Give it a try! 😉
Ingredients:
Fresh scallops (about 3-4 per person)
Prosciutto di Parma (amount depends on how many scallops you are cooking)
1 lemon juice
1 tb of butter
Drizzle of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 garlic clove (minced)
Toothpicks to assemble the scallops
Instructions:
Pat dry the scallops with a paper towel.
Season scallops with salt and pepper from each side.
Wrap each scallop with prosciutto and secure it with a toothpick.
On a large frying pan, sauté the garlic on olive oil and butter for about 1 minute on medium heat. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Add the scallops to the pan, add the lemon, wine and cook for about 4minutes per side, until they are golden.
Served with your favorite sides dishes and enjoy! I recommend brown rice and veggies to keep it light.
Buen Provecho!
