Caprese Salad
This is one of the easiest and most delicious salads in the world. It takes no time, you don’t need to do a lot of chopping and you can eat it by itself or as an appetizer before your main course.
Ingredients: (portions for 2)
1 Mozzarella di Bufala ball
1 large ripe large tomatoe
6 leaves of fresh basil (thinly chopped)
Drizzle of balsamic vinegar
Drizzle Olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Preparation:
Cut the mozzarella and tomato on slices (as you see in the picture.)
Cut the basil leaves in small pieces and then stack the mozzarella and tomato slices on a plate. Drizzle with olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and sprinkle them with the basil.
