Pan-Seared Halibut
Ingredients:
Halibut fillet
1 Garlic clove
1 Teaspoon of fresh ginger
1 Teaspoon of fish oil (optional)
1 Tablespoon of olive oil
1/3 Cups of chopped green onions
1 Teaspoon of Italian season
Salt to taste
Sprinkle of Chili flakes
Preparation:
Season the fillet with the salt, lemon, Italian seasoning, fish oil and half of the olive oil.
On a frying pan, at high heat cook seared the fish and cook the fish until seared, about 3 minutes; turn and sear other side, about 3 more minutes. Retire the fish from the pan and lower the heat to medium. Add the the garlic, green onions and ginger and sauté them in olive oil.
Add the fish back on the pan, cover it with a lid and cook it for about 7 more minutes (depending on the thickness of the fillet.)
