A Long Weekend In Tulum
This bohemian beach town in Mexico totally stole my heart. This place is the perfect weekend getaway for anyone looking to unwind and relax.
How To Get There
Fly to Cancun-Quintana Roo in Mexico, rent a car (do it directly with the car rental company) and drive for about 1:30 hrs until you arrive at paradise.
Where To Stay
Tulum has been booming during the past few years, so there are a lot of options. From Airbnbs to chic Boutique Hotels, the options can be overwhelming but make sure you book ahead if you are going during the high season (October-March). I stayed at a boutique hotel that I cannot recommended enough, it was a dream! Details below:
Casa Malca
Chic and bohemian ocean front hotel. If you are a fan of boutique hotels, and also enjoy minimalistic designs, you would probably become obsessed with this property.

Where to Eat
Posada Margherita
This little Italian restaurant right in front of the ocean won’t let you down. I have to admit that I was skeptical about getting Italian food in this tiny beach in Mexico but when I heard that the owners were 2 Italians that make everything from scratch I didn’t have to think twice about stopping by.
Get yourself a glass of wine, order some fresh pasta and mangia!

Mateo’s Tacos
I stopped at this Mexican gem when I was on my way back from snorkeling. It has a great outdoor area and a casual vibe. The fish tacos and micheladas were to die for! It is located right on the main road so you won’t miss it.

Arca
Hands down this place served me the best meal of my trip. Besides having excellent food and drinks, the entire experience was incredible.
They have a beautiful patio where you can have a delightful dinner under the stars. I got the catch of the day on the grill, with a side of some amazing potatoes that I can still taste every time I remember this dinner. This is a must if you are looking to have a dining experience to remember while you are in Tulum.

Anyone that has been to Tulum has probably heard of Hartwood. This place is trendy and changes the menu daily, so even if you have been, you can always try something new. Make sure you plan ahead and make a reservation on their site as soon as you can.

I Scream Bar
It’s hard to describe this place, it is an ice cream bar, a restaurant and a late night bar. It was the funnest bar in Tulum. One of the few places open until late, this spot was full of lively people, music and great cocktails, I also have to say the staff was the most entertaining people that I met during my stay in Tulum. This place is a must if you are looking for a fun night.
